DESERT WATCH
Environmental protection in Lanzarote
SUMMARY
Desert Watch is a not-for-profit organisation to protect the unique desert plain of El Jable in Lanzarote and the wildlife that lives in it. It is run by volunteers who are deeply committed to the cause. They approached me to work with them to develop material to promote their activities and their educational lectures. This work has culminated in a website to educate the wider world and bring more attention to their project.
WHAT I DID
The multilingual website was developed to showcase all the activities of the organisation. The addition of micro animations, galleries and illustration helps to engage the audience and bring a sense of fun to the content. A simple donation function allows people to donate easily.
I continue to help the organisation produce online, print and display publicity material.
